OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Suggestions for the preparation of espresso after frothing the milk
• If you want to prepare the espresso after frothing the milk, let the device cool down first, as burnt espresso
may otherwise leak out.
• Proceed as follows:
• Place a container under the steam/hot water jet (6). Check that the function knob (5) is already turned to the
position, and the
OK
indicator light (1) is on.
• Turn the steam/hot water control (4) counterclockwise and the function knob to the position.
• Hot water will flow from the steam/hot water jet. Wait until the
OK
indicator light (1) switches off.
• Turn the function knob to the
position, and the steam/hot water control to the
STEAM OFF
position.
• The device is ready for another espresso preparation.
Preparing hot water
• Check to make sure there is sufficient water in the water tank (3).
• Turn the function knob (5) to the
position. The indicator light (2) will come on. Wait until the device has
heated up.
• Place a container under the steam/hot water jet (6).
• When the
OK
indicator light (1) comes on, turn the steam/hot water control (4) counterclockwise. Turn the
function knob to position . Hot water will flow from the steam/hot water jet.

Important!
Never use the steam/hot water jet longer than 20 seconds at a time.
• Turn the steam/hot water control to the
STEAM OFF
position, to stop dispensing hot water.
