Attaching the mounting plate to
the ceiling

Securing the nipple
□
Place the mounting plate (AA) over the outlet box,
so the outlet box can be seen in the circle in the
center of the mounting plate (AA).
□
Mark the location of the two keyholes on the ceiling.
□
Remove the mounting plate (AA) from the ceiling. Use
the drill to bore two 5 mm deep holes in the ceiling,
placing the holes following the location of the two
keyholes on the mounting plate (AA).
□
Insert the plastic anchors (EE) into the holes on the
ceiling.
□
Lightly screw the self-threading screws (DD) into the
plastic anchors (EE). Be sure to leave about 1/8 in.
between the heads of the self-threading screws (DD)
and the ceiling.
□
Place the mounting plate (AA) onto the protruding
heads of the self-threading screws (DD).
□
Gently move the mounting plate (AA) until the heads
of the self-threading screws (DD) slide into the
narrow ends of the keyholes.
□
Attach the mounting plate (AA) to the outlet box (not
included) using the outlet box screws (CC).
□
Screw the loop (D) onto the nipple (E).
