Fastening the blade
assemblies to the motor
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of personal injury, do not
bend the blade arms (I) while installing, balancing the blades
(H), or cleaning the fan. Do not insert foreign objects between
rotating fan blades (H).
□
The fan motor assembly (G) is shipped with motor
support plate (WW) to prevent movement during
transportation. Remove the motor support plate (WW).
□
Fasten the blade assemblies to the fan motor
assembly (G) by lining up the slots (XX) of the motor
with the tabs (YY) on the blade arms.
□
Align the holes from the blade arm (I) to the holes
from the motor (G), and secure the blade arm in place
with screws and washers (CC) provided.
□
Repeat this process to attach the other blades
assemblies.
Attaching the switch housing
to the mounting ring
□
Remove one of the three switch housing mounting
screws (JJ) from the mounting ring (ZZ) and loosen
the other two screws (JJ). (Do not remove.)
□
While holding the switch housing (J) under the fan
motor assembly (G), snap together the wire connec-
tion plugs (AAA).
□
Place the key holes in the switch housing (J) over the
two screws (JJ) previously loosened from the
mounting ring (ZZ). Turn the switch housing (J) until
the switch housing (J) locks in place at the narrow
section of the key holes.
□
Securely tighten the two switch housing mounting
screws (JJ) previously loosened and the one (JJ)
previously removed.
CAUTION:
Before starting installation, disconnect the
power by turning off the circuit breaker or removing the fuse
at the fuse box. Turning power off using the fan switch is not
sufficient to prevent electric shock.
