 Keep your work area dry and tidy! An untidy work area may cause
accidents. Avoid slippery floor!
 Make sure the work area is lighted sufficiently!
 Mount the machine by driving the 4 mounting bolts (not included) through
the mounting holes, into your workbench or into the optional stand

 Always stay focused when working. Reduce distortion sources in your
working environment. The operation of the machine when being tired, as
well as under the influence of alcohol, drugs or concentration influencing
medicaments is forbidden!

Use personal safety equipment: safety shoes S1, work wear, safety
gloves (EN 388, class 3111) when working with or on the machine!



12 OPERATION
Please check the product contents immediately after receipt for any eventual transport damage or
missing parts. Claims from transport damage or missing parts must be placed immediately after
initial machine receipt and unpacking before putting the machine into operation. Please
understand that later claims cannot be accepted anymore.
12.1 Workplace requirements
Machine should be installed on a level surface, with proper lighting. Machine can be floor-
mounted, stand-mounted or bench-mounted. The machine can also be mounted on the optional
stand UBM760MS.
Be sure to provide clearance for handle bar rotation. Use four mounting holes on left and right
supports to bolt machine securely to floor or stand (fasteners not included). Apply a suitable non-
skid material to floor.
12.2 Assembly
Remove two socket head bolts and eccentric cap from right side for right handed operator.
Remove bolts and cap from left side for left handed operator. Mount handle bar in groove in
eccentric with handles away from machine. Replace eccentric cap and tighten socket head bolts
securely.
Thread hex nuts to shoulder of material stop rods. Thread material stop rods into holes on back of
lower support beam. Position material stop bar angle iron “up” for bending operations and “down”
for shearing operations. Set material stop at desired position and secure with locking knobs.
