SETUP
3.1
Workpiece requirements
Choose a suitable workplace for the machine;
The chosen place shall grant access to a suitable power circuit and to a dust collection.
Assure yourself, that the underground is even, vibration-resistant.
For stationary use we strongly recommend to fix the machine through the 4 borings in
the ground plate tot he underground.
When choosing the workplace – keep in mind that you need at least 1m of room around
the machine for safe operation and handling.
3.2
SETUP
Remove the layer of anti-corrossion grease that covers the non coated machine parts
with water. Do not use Nitrite-based solvents, abrasive solvents or any other aggressive
chemicals.
The machine is already mounted. You only need to mount the mitre gauge and the con-
trol lever.
3.3
Dust colllector connection
The machine is equipped with a dust port for the connection to a dust collecting system.
The dust collection system shall be already running when working with the LBM
220.
The LBM 220 requires a dust collection performance of at least 1400 m³/h
The dust port has a diameter of 100mm.
3.4
Electric Connection

Connect the KAP 305JL only to a power supply with fuse.
Power socket must be fused as well.
The connection of the machine to the electric power supply and the following checks are to
be carried out by respectively trained personnel.
