16.2.2
Cleaning the saw blade
Any deposition of resin on the teeth of the saw blade will cause the saw blade to jam during
the processing of a workpiece. For the purpose of maintenance, remove the saw blade from
the drive shaft and clean it with white spirit. After cleaning, the saw blade should be sprayed
with silicone spray.
NOTE:
Never use products containing oil for cleaning, as these will attract dirt. This will cause
the saw blade to jam while machining a workpiece.
16.2.3
Assembly/exchange saw blade
Adjust the cutting height to the maximum possible
level.
Remove the saw blade guard (1) by slackening off
the locking knob (2) and unhooking from the riv-
ing knife.
Push the sliding table (3) completely to the right
hand side.
Loosen the screws that fix the table insert (4) and
remove the table insert.
Loosen the two screws on the front safety cover
(5) and remove the cover.
NOTE:
A safety switch interrupts the power supply at
this point, thus preventing the machine from being
switched on unintentionally.
Fix the driving shaft by inserting the lever (6) into
the hole provided for this purpose on the driving
shaft behind the saw blade.
Turn the nut with a wrench (7) clockwise (left-
hand thread) to loosen it.
Remove the nut (8), washer (9), flange disc (10)
and the old saw blade from the drive shaft.
Replace the old saw blade with a new one and po-
sition it on the drive shaft.
Make sure that the new saw blade is undamaged
and not dirty.
Replace the flange disc (10), washer (9) and the
nut (8) on the drive shaft.
