USING THE APPLIANCE
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. This appliance is designed for household use only.
2. Place the appliance on a stable, horizontal and level surface. Do not place
appliance on non-heat-resistant surfaces.
3. Make sure that the marked electrical rating of the cord or extension cord is at least
as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
4. Make sure that the temperature control knob is set to ZERO. Plug in the cord to the
wall outlet. Make sure the outlet is separate from other appliances to avoid the
circuit to overcharge.
5. Place the pot on the base.
6. To turn the appliance on, turn the temperature control knob to the desired level.
When the knob is anywhere between LOW and HIGH, the indicator light will be
on. The appliance will reach the desired temperature and then it will turn off. Once
the temperature lowers, the appliance will turn back on to go back to the desired
temperature.
7. If the desired temperature is the maximum, the appliance will continuously heat
up and will not turn off automatically to maintain the set temperature.
8. To cook with water, add water to the pot between the MIN and MAX levels. NOTE:
it is very important that you do not fill the pot with water over the MAX mark,
because the boiling water could spill. Do not fill with water below the MIN mark,
because the water could dry up quickly and the appliance could overheat while is
it functioning.
9. Place the lid on the pot and turn the temperature control knob to the desired level.
Allow for the water to boil.
10. Carefully lift up the lid, making sure not to burn yourself, and add the ingredients
to the pot.
11. Once again, place the lid on the pot. Allow for the appliance to cook the
ingredients to your liking.
