Power Cord:
The Surgitron
®
Dual/EMC unit is shipped with a hospital grade
power cord.
WARNING: To avoid the risk of electric shock, this equipment must
only be connected to a supply mains with protective earth.
Power Socket:
The Surgitron
®
Dual/EMC unit must be connected to correctly
installed sockets with a grounded earth conductor using the power cord
supplied by the manufacturer.
Line Fuses:
The unit is protected with two line fuses. If a fuse blows, the unit
should be checked for possible faults before the fuse is replaced and the unit
is operated again. Always replace with a fuse of the same rating. See 4.1.1 for
details.
Audio Volume Control:
The volume of the acoustic signal should be set to a
volume that can easily be heard by the user.
Footswitch Receptacle:
The Footswitch receptacle mates with the supplied
Ellman Surgitron
®
Dual/EMC Footswitch Pedal.
Dual Footswitch Pedal:
The unit is shipped with a waterproof footswitch.
