Get Ready to Measure

Perhaps you are familier with the concepts when measuring the response of an audio
system, then you will find this chapter obvious, but relevant.

If you are not familier with audio-measurements you should definitely pay extra attention
to this chapter.

9.1

Microphone Connection

Any microphone can in principle be connected to the DSPre, but for simplicity it will be
assumed, that ’The Microphone’ is the HOLM Acoustics microphone Mic 1.

Connect the microphone to the DSPre analog 1 Left input on the DSPre and adjust the
analog input gain (12 dB for the Mic 1)
