DUAL, TRIPLE, POKER DC Inverter : 3. Outdoor Unitis & Troubleshooting

Multi Liberty

DC Inverter

The display shows “P6”.

Overtemperature of outdoor heat exchanger.

Is temperature on outdoor heat exchanger > 65°C?

YES

If temperature detected on oudoor heat exchanger is higher than 65°C, system is stopped.

Normal operation can be restored only when temperature value detected on outdoor heat exchanger is

lower than 52°C.

Check if R-T values of T3 sensor correspond to the

specifications indicated in the corresponding tables (see

further on).

Replace thermistor T3.

YES

Replace Outdoor Unit’s

Control PCB.

Replace Outdoor Unit’s Control PCB.

Hypothesis 1:

Is outdoor temperature too high?

Hypothesis 2:

Is outdoor heat exchanger dirty or clogged?

Unit stops.

Clean outdoor heat exchanger.

Empty refrigerant (by recovering it). Eliminate
obstruction along the circuit, carry out the vacuum
procedure and the weighed out recharge of R410A.

Hypothesis 3:

- Is refrigerant circuit obstructed? Please check.

- Faulty EXV valve? Inspect.

- Excessive refrigerant amount? Measure pressure

values.
