7.1 Before use
Attention!
When the appliance is heated or operated for the first time,
a trail of smoke or steam may appear. This is a normal
phenomenon that occurs when new heating components are
preheated.
Various types of waffle batter can be used with the waffle
maker.
Close the lid very carefully to avoid trapping your fingers.
Before switching the appliance on, place it on a stable and flat
surface resistant to high temperatures.
7.2 Turning the appliance on and off
• To turn the appliance on, connect it to an alternating
current source whose parameters match those specified
on the appliance’s label. The outlet should be equipped
with a protective earthing pin.
• To turn the appliance off, disconnect it from the
alternating current source whose parameters match
those specified on the appliance’s label.
Attention!
The appliance should be connected to a readily accessible
socket situated near the appliance so that it can be
disconnected from the power source immediately in the event
any danger arises.
