13. Be careful when using the appliance.

15. If you intend to hand the appliance over to a
third party, you need to hand over this instruction
manual as well.
16. Remove the plug from the wall socket when the
appliance is not in use or before it is cleaned.
Wait until the appliance cools down before you
start cleaning or repairing it.
17. Do not cover the appliance during operation.
The appliance may catch fire if it is covered or
touches a flammable material.
18. Make sure not to connect too many electrical
appliances to a single circuit.
19. Make sure that the power cord is not pinched
when the appliance is being closed and that
the power cord does not touch the edges of the
heating plates.
20. Do not use any extension cord. If, however, you
are willing to take responsibility for such an action,
use only an extension cord in good working order,
with a protective earthing pin, and suitable for
supplying power to the appliance.
21. Do not clean the appliance with corrosive cleaning
agents.
