Warning! Before performing cleaning and maintenance operations, turn
the appliance off, disconnect it from the power source and let it cool
down, so as to avoid burns and electrocution.
8.1 BASIC RULES
Proper and regular cleaning will ensure safe operation and extend the life span
of the device.
8. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Do not immerse the base with motor in water or other liquids.
• Do not use corrosive cleaning agents.
• Cut fruit and vegetables into pieces that will easily fit into the inlet.
• It is not necessary to peel all fruit. Only thick skin/rind from fruit/vegetables
such as oranges, pineapples or beetroots must be removed. It is also
recommended to remove the white part of citrus fruit rind, as it has a bitter
taste.
• Apple juice turns brown very quickly. This process can be inhibited by adding
several drops of lemon juice to the apple juice.
5.4 JUICING
• Make sure that the appliance has been properly assembled and is protected
with the safety lock.
• Connect the appliance to a source of power whose parameters match those
specified in the rating plate on the appliance.
• Insert the prepared vegetables or fruit into the inlet and push them in with
the pusher.
Attention! Before juice extraction, cut the fruit and vegetables into pieces that
will fit easily into the inlet.
• After juice extraction is completed, disconnect the appliance from the power
source by removing the plug from the outlet socket.
Attention!
When extracting juice, make sure that the bowl does not overflow. If it does,
open the juice outlet flap so that the juice can flow down into the container.
Place the pulp and juice containers on a stable surface that is easy to clean
(as the juice or pulp can be accidentally spilled).
