4. Pour the remaining water out of the tank (see point
7.3 Filling the
water tank
).
5. Wait for the device to cool down, then store it in a safe place.
Attention!
Risk of burns! Steam emitted by the device is hot!
Never aim the steam stream at other people. The steam is hot and may
cause scalding!
Never aim the steam stream directly at electrical devices or devices that
contain electrical components (TV set, radio, electric stove).
Do not aim the steam stream at unprotected wooden surfaces, unsuitable
grouts, cold glass or plastics.
The device may be operated as long as there is water in its tank. When the
tank is empty, disconnect the device from the mains, wait for it to cool
down and refill the tank before you resume working with the device.
8.1 Basic principles
Correct and regular cleaning will improve the safety and extend the lifespan
of the device.
8.2 Descaling
• Steam power will degrade with time and frequency of use. When this
happens, the device should be descaled.
• Use commercially available descaling agents based on citric acid. Follow
the instructions provided by the manufacturer/importer of the agent.
Warning!
Turn the device off, disconnect it from the power source
and wait until it cools down before cleaning or maintenance to avoid
electric shock or burn.
Attention!
Never immerse the plug, power cord or the device itself in water or other
liquids. After finishing work and prior to opening the water filler plug, wait
for the device to cool down.
• Always empty the device’s water tank when you have

nished working with
it.
• Wipe the device with a slightly damp cloth, then wipe it dry.
• Wash the tools with running water and leave to dry.
