31. Warning! During cleaning or operation, never immerse any electrical parts
of the device in water or other liquids. Never immerse the device in water.
32. Do not cover the device with any fabrics. Otherwise (if the device is covered or
touches a flammable material) there is a risk of fire.
33. Do not clean the product using corrosive cleaning agents.
34. Do not aim the steam jet at unprotected wooden surfaces, unsuitable grouts,
cold glass or plastics.
35. Never aim the steam jet at other people. The steam is hot and may cause
scalding!
36. Never turn the device upside down or lay it on the side when it is turned on.
37. Never add any cleaning agents, fragrances, scented oils or other chemicals to
the water tank. Such agents may damage the device and render its operation
dangerous.
38. Only use distilled or boiled water to fill the water tank.
39. Always disconnect the device from the mains before starting to fill or empty
the water tank.
40. After finishing work with the device, wait at least 10 minutes to reduce the
risk of scalding before you unscrew the water filler plug. Press the steam
lever to check whether any steam is still inside the water tank.
41. Exercise caution when emptying the water tank –
risk of scalding with hot
water.
42. Always disconnect the device from the mains before starting to fill or empty
the detergent tank.
43. Before changing the tool, always disconnect the device from the mains and
wait for it to cool down.
44. After finishing work with the device, wait for it to cool down before performing
maintenance on it.
45. Use the device only for its intended purpose.
46. Keep this manual and, if possible, also the package.
47. If the device is passed on to another user, make sure that the User’s Guide is
passed on as well.
