22.  Do not hang the power cord over a table or sink edge.

23.  Do not use an extension cord. If, however, you are willing to take responsibility for 

such an action, use only an extension cord in good technical condition, with proper 

grounding, and suitable for supplying the amount of power the appliance needs.

temperatures.

37.  If water is poured over the external electrical components of the kettle or of the 

base, dry them completely before you reconnect the appliance to the mains. 

38.  Always unplug the appliance after use and if it shows any signs of improper 

functioning.

39.  Do not use the appliance if the power cord shows any signs of damage or if the 

appliance has been dropped on the floor.

40.  Keep the kettle’s lid closed when boiling water.

41. 

The appliance is not fit for operation with an external 

timer or remote control system.

42.  Retain the instruction manual and the packaging, if 

possible.
