1. INTENDED USE
The electric kettle is intended for heating and boiling potable (drinking) water.
It must not be used for heating other liquids or foodstuffs.
The appliance can be installed and used safely only if the rules in this manual
are followed.
The appliance is intended for private indoor use only.
1. The appliance may be used by children over 8 years of age, by
individuals with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or by individuals lacking the necessary experience or knowledge
of the appliance, provided they do so under supervision or in a
safe manner in accordance with the instruction manual and with
an understanding of the hazards involved. Do not allow children
to play with the appliance. The appliance may be cleaned and
maintained by children over 8 years old provided that they are
supervised by an adult. Keep this appliance and its power cord
away from children younger than 8.
2. Make sure that children do not play with the appliance.
3. When cleaning parts that come into direct contact with food,
follow the rules in section 8. Cleaning and maintenance.
4. If the electric kettle is overfilled, boiling water may splash out.
