of the appliance.

Before performing cleaning and maintenance operations, turn
the appliance off, disconnect it from the power source and let it cool down,
so as to avoid burns and electrocution .

b) You can remove stubborn dirt with a damp cloth and a neutral detergent .
Attention! Do not clean the appliance with any strong chemicals, alkali, abrasive
or disinfecting agents, as they may damage the surface of the appliance.

8.2 Descaling
In order to remove scale deposited inside the kettle and on the heating element, prepare
a solution of water and vinegar (1 part vinegar to 2 parts water) . Pour the solution into
the kettle and heat it up, but DO NOT BOIL THE SOLUTION! Leave the solution in the kettle
for about 1 hour, then pour it out. Refill the kettle with water up to the maximum level
and boil the water. Pour the water out and remove any residue with a damp cloth. If the
water at your location leaves lots of scale, frequent descaling is recommended . Do not
perform descaling using chemicals designed for coffee makers or irons .
Attention! Descaling frequency depends on the quality and type of water used. Descaling
should be performed when you notice that more than ¼ of the heating element surface
is covered with scale.
