b)  Water tank cleaning

Attention! Always empty the water tank when you do not intend to use the

appliance.

1.  Fill the tank with water. Use purified water only.

2.  Add a bit of mild detergent (dishwashing agent) to the water, and then shake

the tank.

3.  Hold the tank with both hands when cleaning.

4.  After the cleaning process is finished, pour the water out of the tank and

rinse the tank thoroughly.

1. Spray some descaling agent over the places covered with scale, mainly the

mist chamber and the ultrasonic generator area.

2. Leave for 2 to 5 minutes.

3. Remove the residues of descaler and dissolved deposits with a damp cloth.

4. Rinse the mist chamber twice with clean fresh water.

5. Wipe it dry.

8.2 Descaling

Hard water may cause scaling, particularly in the mist chamber and in the

ultrasonic generator area.

If this is the case, white deposits will become visible. The appliance needs

to be descaled on a regular basis.

9. REPAIR

The product does not contain any user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to repair

the appliance on your own. Always have the product repaired by a professional.

On cold days, moisture or frost may build up on windows and even on walls due

to excessive humidity in the room. If this occurs, decrease the humidity output by

turning the adjustment knob to a lower level, so as to avoid damage to window sills

onto which condensation could drip.

Excessive humidity level in a room may lead to moisture accumulation on surfaces

where bacteria and fungi may grow. Excessive humidity may also cause damage to

furniture and walls, particularly wallpaper.

To eliminate the accumulation of excessive moisture, particularly in small rooms,

leave the door open and adjust the humidity output level as necessary.
