Main principles
Proper and regular cleaning ensures safe operation and extends the life span of the
device .
1 . Wait for the iron soleplate to cool down before cleaning .
2 . Clean the soleplate and the casing with a damp cloth .
3 . Do not clean the device using any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents .
4 . Do not use vinegar, chlorine or other chemical compounds for cleaning the appliance .

Self-cleaning function
1 . Fill the water tank halfway .
2 . Set the temperature control to the maximum position .
3 . Connect the iron to the mains .
4 . Allow the iron to heat up until the indicator light turns off .
5 . Unplug the steam iron from the mains .
6 . Holding the iron horizontally over the sink, set the steam control to the maximum
position .
7 . Hot boiling water and steam will be ejected from the holes in the foot of the iron
together with the impurities flushed out.
8 . Place the iron on an old (preferably) piece of cloth to dry it thoroughly .

Anti-calc function
1 .
A special resin filter inside the water tank softens the water and prevents scale build-
up on the plate. The resin filter is durable and does not need to be replaced.

1 . Place the iron upright on the base and set the lock to the closed padlock position .
2 . Disconnect from power .
3 . Wait until it cools down .
4 . Empty the water tank .
5 . Place in a dry, well-ventilated place .
ATTENTION! In the event of a thermostat failure, the thermal protection will work to
prevent the iron from overheating.
