7 OPERATION
7.1
Battery installation / replacement
1. Make sure that the scale is switched off.
2. Remove the battery compartment cover in the direction of the below arrow
on it.
3. Remove the dead batteries (if present).
4. Insert 1 new CR2032 3 V battery as indicated by the markings in the battery
compartment.
5. Replace the battery compartment cover.
Caution!
• The device is designed to be used with CR2032 3V
battery.
• The battery are included in the kit.
• When installing new battery, observe the polarity markings in the battery
compartment.
• Use the type of battery recommended for this device: CR2032 3V
.
• Do not dispose of used batteries with municipal waste. Put them into special
containers for dead batteries.
• Do not recharge batteries not designed for that purpose (non-rechargeable
batteries).
• Do not short-circuit battery terminals.
• Never expose batteries to direct heat sources such as excessive sunlight,
radiators or fire.
•
Explosion hazard! Batteries must not be dismantled, put into fire or
short-circuited.
• Always remove batteries when you do not use the device – this will prevent
