Open the packaging and carefully remove its contents. Make sure that the set is
complete and that its components are undamaged. Check that the plastic parts are
not broken. If you find that any components are missing or damaged, contact the
vendor and do not use the device. Keep the packaging or dispose of it in accordance
with local regulations.
6. SET CONTENTS
Attention!
! The purchased device may be provided with batteries in the
battery compartment, secured with a piece of plastic. Remove the piece of
plastic before you start using the device.
7.1 Battery installation /replacement
Make sure the scale is switched off.
Lift the cover to open the battery compartment.

Remove spent batteries (if present).
2.
Insert new batteries (AAA 1,5V ). Pay attention to the polarity.
3.
Replace the battery compartment cover.
Caution!
• The device is designed to be used with 3 AAA 1.5 V batteries.
• The batteries are included in the set.
•
When installing a new battery, observe the polarity markings in the
battery compartment.
• Use the same type of batteries as recommended for this device: AAA 1.5V .
• Do not dispose of spent batteries with municipal waste. Put them into special
containers for spent batteries.
•
Do not recharge batteries not designed for that purpose (non-
rechargeable batteries).
•
Do not short-circuit battery terminals.
