7. USE

Unpack the appliance.

Make sure the power supply parameters of the appliance (220 – 240 V~ 50/60 Hz)
match the parameters of the local mains.
3. Before operating the appliance for the first time, clean it as described in the section
8 Cleaning and care
of this user manual.

Before assembling the appliance, make sure that it is disconnected from the mains
and its speed control is in the OFF position.
Caution!
During the first few uses of the appliance, it may emit an unpleasant odour. The odour
will disappear after a while.
Caution! Maximum continuous operating time of the appliance is 2 minutes. After that
time, unplug the appliance and wait 30 seconds before using it again.

Place the jar on the appliance base, making sure to align the bottom of the jar with the
rubber cushion on the blender base.

Place the lid on the jar.
2.
Press the lid down.
3.
Place the cap on the lid. Make sure to insert the tabs on the cap into the openings on
the cap handle. Carefully turn the cap clockwise.

Lift the jar up.

Grasp the tabs on the cap and lift the cap up.
2.
Turn the cap counter-clockwise until the tabs are aligned with the cap openings. Pull
the cap upwards.
Caution!
More force is required to remove the lid.
