Caution! For safety, keep the packaging parts (plastic bags, cardboard
boxes, Styrofoam etc.) out of children’s reach. Risk of suffocation!
7.1 Before use
Before first use, wipe the appliance’s internal surfaces with a damp cloth or a sponge,
and then wipe them dry with a paper towel. Wash the basket and the pan as described
in section
8. Cleaning and care
.
Attention!
When the appliance is heated or used for the first time, a trail of smoke or steam
may appear. This is a normal phenomenon which occurs when new internal
components are preheated.
Note! This user manual does not contain any recipes.

Remove the appliance from the packaging and get rid of the protective film on the
control panel.

Unwind the power cord and place the appliance on a dry, flat and stable surface,
resistant to high temperatures. Appliance surfaces marked with the triangle
symbol (pan, basket, cavity in the body) become particularly hot. (see
Fig. 1).
CAUTION! Hot surfaces! Risk of burns!

7.2 Removing/inserting the pan and basket set
1. To remove the pan with the installed basket from the appliance body, grab the
handle and pull. (see Fig. 2).
2. 2. Next, slide the pan release button fully to the front until the basket release button
is visible (see Fig. 5). Firmly press the release button disengaging the basket from
the pan while lifting the handle up (see Fig. 3).
3. To insert the basket into the pan, place the basket handle into the indentation in
the pan, simultaneously pressing the release button disengaging the basket from
the pan, until it clicks into place (see Figures 4 and 5).
4. Replace the pan inside the appliance body and press it down (see Fig. 6).
