INDUCTION COOKING - BASIC INFORMATION
When cooking on an induction plate, ferromagnetic cooking utensils are heated by
eddy currents generated by electromagnetic induction. This makes the cooking
process more energy efficient, eliminates the time it takes to heat up the cookware and
controls the cooking temperature more precisely.
When cooking, only the cookware is heated, the plate itself only receives heat from the
heated dishes standing on its surface.
Due to the nature of induction cooking, only cookware designed for this purpose should
be used. They are marked with a symbolic representation of an induction coil (the
marking on cookware is not the same as the graphic symbol used in electrical
installations):
When using the appliance, use flat-bottomed dishes with a diameter of 13-20 cm.
Ceramic, glass, aluminium, copper and other diameters are not suitable for use with
induction cooktop.
INDUCTION COOKTOP USE
Place the cooking vessel with the food you are preparing on the surface of the plate
(2)and touch the ON/OFF button (3) to turn on the unit. You will hear a short beep and
the LED above the button symbol will light up. The default operation mode is the power
control mode (lightning symbol). Use the mode button (4) to switch between modes.
Available modes:
•
Power regulation (lightning symbol)
•
Temperature regulation (ºC symbol)
•
Automatic programs (Function)
In the power and temperature regulation modes, the power/temperature is changed by
touching the power up (5) or temperature down (7) button. The power is adjustable
from 200 W -
2000 W, while the temperature is 60 ºC
-
240 ºC. The default operating
time in these modes is 2h. The operating time can be changed, which will be described
later in this chapter. The automatic programs allow you to use the predefined settings
of the device depending on the intended use.
