•
Never use the device on people or animals! UV radiation may cause
injury to eyes and skin! Never risk exposing yourself, other people or
animals to direct or reflected UV radiation. In case of exposure to
radiation, contact your doctor immediately.
•
Before using the device, make sure that the safety switches of the
UV lamp are not blocked by anything.
•
Never put your hand under the device while it is still in use, as the
UV lamp heats up and touching it may expose you to skin burns.
When you have finished using the device wait until the UV lamp has
cooled down for it can endanger the user, bystanders or animals to
burns.
•
Do not focus the UV light on one spot for a long time as it might
damage the item being cleaned.
•
The voltage of the power source must match the data on the rating
plate on the unit.
•
To avoid endangering life and health of the users, in the event of
damage to the device or any of its components, return it
immediately to an authorized service centre or contact
manufacturer's service department.
•
Operating the device, including switching the power plug to the
mains, is allowed only with clean and dry hands.
•
To disconnect the unit from the power supply, always pull the mains
plug, not the power cord.
•
Ensure that the power cord is never crushed, bent too strongly, or
exposed to sharp or hot surfaces that could damage it. Guide the
power cord so that it does not subject anyone to tripping or losing
balance. Always fully unwind the power cord before using the device
and inserting the mains plug into the socket. Do not use power
extension cords.
•
Disconnect the unit from the power supply before cleaning and
maintaining the device and also after every use.
•
Never use the device in a close proximity to humidity or water
sources (aquariums, bathtubs, sink, bucket, dishes, utensils) or
outside. Every time a cable or appliance gets wet, even when it is
