START-UP OF THE DEVICE
Make sure your hands are dry before operating the unit. The device has
to be disconnected from the power supply.
Do not use excessive force to close the latch. If it does not want to
close, adjust the cover more closely.
Ensure that the cable is routed so that there is no possibility of damage,
cutting, collision, or pulling that could cause damage to the equipment or
injury to you or anyone else.
The device may only be connected to a power outlet equipped with
a protective pin.
If you notice that the housing, cable, or power plug is damaged, do not
turn on the device.
Do not grill products other than sandwiches, e.g. meat, vegetables, fish,
etc., as you may damage the heating plates and the effect of grilling may not
be as expected.
While toasting bread take care not to approach sides of the appliance
as hot water steam may vapour from the sandwiches.
Be careful with the housing, its surface is getting hot and we
recommend that you open and close the device by grasping top and bottom
handles.
Do not use metal or glass tools during operation as you may damage
the non-stick coating on the heating panels.
If there are any leftovers from the previous sandwiches on the heating
panels, you can remove it using a wooden, plastic or silicone spatula (kitchen
appliance intended to be used with Teflon-covered surfaces) or a paper
towel, paying special attention to the fact that the heating panels are very
hot!
