If installing on a standard Hobie Kayak or a Pro Angler that does not have
inserts, find the two cheek blocks and set them approximately 12” from the
bow and the stern. Drill two 3/16” holes for the hardware that will hold the
cheek blocks in place.
THE BLOCKS SHOULD BE LOCATED ABOVE THE
WATERLINE.

Once the holes are drilled, fasten the cheek blocks onto the
kayak with the correct hardware; Use the hatches on the
bow and stern to access the screws when thru-bolting. Make
sure the blocks are facing inwards.
