Intended Use
• This product is suitable for use as a decoration indoors and outdoors. The battery
charges up in daylight via the solar panel. This stored energy allows the LEDs to
glow in the dark.
• The product is not a toy!
• The product is for personal use only and is not intended for commercial applications.
• The product should only be used as described in the operating instructions. Any
other use is deemed to be improper.

Non-rechargeable and rechargeable batteries can be deadly if swallowed. The
batteries and the product should be kept out of the reach of children and animals.
If a battery is swallowed, immediate medical attention must be sought.

If the battery has leaked, do not allow your skin, eyes and mucous membranes to
come into contact with the battery acid. If there is contact with battery acid, rinse
the affected sites with abundant fresh water immediately and contact a doctor as
soon as possible.

Use only the battery type specifi ed in the technical data.
■
Take the battery out of the remote control if it is dead or if you will not be using the
product for a prolonged period. This will prevent any damage caused by leaks.
■
The battery supplied with the remote control must not be charged or reactivated in
any way, disassembled, thrown into a fi re, immersed in liquids or short-circuited.
■
Protect the product from naked fl ames and impacts.
■
Never immerse the solar unit in water or other liquids! It is only splashproof.
■
In extreme weather conditions (e.g. storm, hail) or if the product is not used for an
extensive period of time, switch it off and store it in a dry place.
■
Keep the solar panel clean so that the greatest possible absorption of light is en-
sured. Wipe down the solar panel (and the other components if necessary) with a
damp cloth. Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the prod-
uct. These may damage the surface.
■
Do not charge up the product via a computer because the computer might be dam-
aged by the high charging current.
■
Do not take the product apart (except to remove the battery before disposing of the
solar unit). Only ever have repairs carried out by a specialist workshop or the cus-
tomer service department. The LEDs cannot be replaced.
