The following applies when waxing the surfaces
• The varnished surfaces should be treated occasionally
with wax. Follow the application instructions given by the
wax manufacturers.
The following applies when polishing the surfaces
• In exceptional cases, use polish to refinish weathered varnis
-
hed surfaces. We recommend solvent-free polishing paste.
Use polish only in special cases and as seldom as possible,
because polish removes the top layer of varnish. Polishing
too often will result in wear and tear.
The following applies for damages
• Repair damages immediately to avoid further damages due
to corrosion. Ask your HOBBY dealer for assistance.
The following applies for tar and resin stains
• Tar and resin stains as well as other organic stains can be
removed with petroleum ether or spirits.
Do not use aggressive solutions such as products contai-
ning ester or ketone.
Skylights, windows and doors
Window panes require particularly careful treatment.
The following applies for their care
• Rub the rubber seals around doors and windows lightly
with talcum powder.
• Clean acrylic glass panes only with a clean, wet sponge and
a soft cloth. Cleaning with a dry cloth may scratch the panes.
Chassis
The undercarriage of the mobile home has been specially
coated. If the protective coating is damaged, repair it imme-
diately. Coated areas should not be treated with spray oil.
The combustion air intake duct for the heating system is
located underneath the floor of the vehicle. Under no circum
-
stances may liquid sprays, underbody protection or similar
products be allowed to interfere with it.
