Eight.Treadmill Simple method of troubleshooting
Fault or phenomenon
Possible reason
Method to the problem
No display on the treadmill.
A. Power not connected, or no power.
Power cord connect to alternating current,or check AC
socket.
B. Power switch is not turned on.
Turn power switch to On position.

Change meter.
F. (LCD)backlight not on.
Need repair,check backlight line
,
or change backlight.
Treadmill display not complete,some
words are missing.
A .Display driver IC has dry joint or connection welding.
Need repair,check welding spot,reweld .
B. (LCD)bus bar slip,not fastened fully.
Reassemble LCD.
C. Display driver IC fault.
Need repair, weld new display driver IC.
Treadmill operation not smooth,weak or
shake.
A .There is resistance in the transmission part.
Adjust the transmission part,or add lubricating oil.
B Transmission belt too tight or too loose.
Adjust the transmission belt tightness.
C .Driver torsion strength too small or too big.
Adjust the tortion potentiometer to the right place
.
Meter
display
---or----(or display E00/E07
according to the request of the
customer)
A .Safety key fall off.
Put the safety key to the right plugging or inserting
place on the panel.
B .Magnetron is not connected rightly.
Assemble the Magnetron to the right position.
E01-communication fault(driver
doesn’t recieve meter signal)
;
E13-communication fault(Meter
doesn’t recieve driver signal)
A .Meter signal wire not plugged well or has a poor contact.
Replug the wire.
B .Meter signal wire has short circuit because of damage
or has open circuit.
Change signal wire.
C. Meter signal circuit fault.
Change meter.
D. Diver signal circuit fault.
Change driver.
E02-Stalling
protection(Explosion-proof prot
ection or main motor fault)
A .Motor wire is not plugged well,or there is open circuit
inside the motor.
Replug the motor wire,or change motor.
B. Driver IGBT breakdown and damaged.
Change driver.
C. External AC voltage too low.
Stop using, ask the electrician to do trouble shooting.
E03-No
speed
sensor
signal(with speed sense driver)
A .Speed signal wire not plugged well,or sensor is damaged. Replug speed signal wire,or change sensor.
B .Driver sense line fault.
Change driver.
E04-Incline
self-checking
learnning fail(with incline driver)
A. Incline motor wire or signal wire not plugged well.
Check lines connected wrong or not, replug the line.
B. Incline motor fault.
Change incline motor.
C. Driver fault.
Change driver.
E05-Overcurrent protection
A.Overlaod.
System protection,if it is artificial locked-rotor then just
restart.
B .Transmisssion part stuck or blocked.
Adjust the transmission part,or add lubricating oil.
C. There is short circuit inside the motor.
Change motor.
E.
Diver burned.
Change driver.
Meter
display
E06-Usually it is because
motor has a open circut
A .The motor wire is not plugged well.
Replug the motor wire.
B. There is open circuit inside the motor.
Change motor.
C. Motor idles away.
Send error message when the current is too low, please
assemble the treadmill to test.
E08-storage 24C02 fault(with
external 24C02 driver)
A .Storage IC not fully connected(not switch power).
Replug to IC seat, note the PIN1 foot position.
B. Storage IC damaged,or related circut fault.
Change storage IC,or change driver.
E09-Reverse error(with reverse
driver)
A. The treadmill is in standing position or not level.
Adjust treadmill,put it level.
B. Driver reverse line fault.
Change driver.
E10-Usually due to motor
instant peak current
abnormal,over current
protection
A .Driver has excessive torque.
Adjust the torsion potentiometer to proper position.
B. There is short circuit inside the motor.
Change motor.
C. Transmission part stuck.
Adjust the transmission part,or add lubricating oil.
E11-External AC volatge over
voltage(according to the
request of the customer)
AC Over voltage:For 220V system,voltage higher than
270VAC;For 110V system,voltage higher than 150 VAC.
Stop using, ask the electrician to do trouble shooting.
E14-External AC voltage
undervoltage(according to the
request of the customer)
AC undervoltage:For 220V system,voltage lower than
160VAC,For 110V system,voltage lower than 70VAC.
Stop using, ask the electrician to do trouble shooting.
Cleaning
Please make sure the treadmill's power plug is pulled out before cleaning or maintaining the product.
Keep treadmill clean by dusting regularly. Be sure to clean the exposed part on both sides of the running belt , which can reduce the piling of dust
under the running belt. Make sure the shoes are clean , avoid to take foreign material to under the running belt to wear off the running belt and
running board. The top of the belt need to be cleaned with a wet, soapy cloth. Be careful to keep liquid away from the electrical components and
underneath the running belt.
WARNING
Remember to unplug the treadmill from the electrical outlet before removing the motor cover. Remove the motor cover and vacuum under the
motor cover at least once a year.
