15.1. Power Supply
NOTE
The way to supply power to the gateway is the same for all applications.
IMPORTANT
• Only use NEC class 2 or limited power source (LPS) and SELV-rated power supply.
• A wrong connection may cause earth loops that can damage the Intesis gateway and/or any other
system equipment.
• If using a DC power supply:
IMPORTANT
– Observe polarity on the power connection.
– Ensure the voltage applied is within the admitted range (see
Technical Specifications (page 43)
).
• If using an AC power supply:
IMPORTANT
– Ensure the voltage applied is 24 Vac (+/- 5%).
– Ensure the same power supply is not powering any other device.
– Do not connect any of the terminals of the AC power supply to earth.
Once connected, the Run LED of the gateway will turn on.
