Switching On Your Wine Cooler
1.
The internal temperature of the wine cooler is
controlled by a thermostat.
2.
Connect the mains cable to the mains socket. Set the
operating temperature:
a)
Touch °F/°C to choose Fahrenheit or Celsius. The unit
will beep and will illuminate accordingly.
b)
Touch repeatedly to adjust the temperature.
At normal room temperature (16°C to 25°C, or 60°F to
90°F), the unit’s recommended operating temperature
should be set between 8°C to
18°C.

The wine cooler may not operate at the correct temperature if it is in a particularly
hot (25°C or over) or a particularly cold (8°C or lower)
room, or if you open the door often.

If you are concerned that the wine cooler is not being
kept cold enough and wish to check the temperature you
will need a special fridge/freezer thermometer. You may also need a hygrometer to
check the humidity of your wine cooler. These are available from most
supermarkets and hardware shops.
Place the thermometer and hygrometer on the middle shelf of
the wine cooler, where it can be read easily. Leave overnight, the
temperature in the wine cooler should be between 8°C to 18°C.
The humidity in the wine cooler should be between 50%-80% RH
depending on the type of wine.
Using the Internal Light
1.
The wine cooler’s light does
not
automatically illuminate when you open the door. It
also does
not
automatically switch off when you close the door.
2.
Touch the once to turn on the light.
3.
Touch the again to turn off the light.
