Selection convention used to input information into DPT-Flow

Entering information into the DPT-Flow is accomplished with three
(3) joysticks (see schematics). The joysticks are labeled as follows:

Joystick 1 – SELECT

Tilting Joystick 1 serves two functions:
A.

Highlight submenus

: when a submenu is available, tilting

joystick 1 will activate the submenu, causing it to blink.
B.

Confirm selection

: when the proper choice is shown on the

screen, tilting joystick 1 will select and store that value.

Joystick 2 – UP

Cycle up:

 Tilting joystick 2 will cycle

up

 through the menu or

submenu choices. If you cycle past your desired choice, the
menu cycles through all the choices and return to the beginning
of the list.

Joystick 3 – DOWN

Cycle down:

 Tilting joystick 3 will cycle

down

through the menu

or submenu choices. If you cycle past your desired choice, the
menu cycles through all the choices and returns to the beginning
of the list.

STEP 4-0: ENTER THE CONFIGURATION MENU

Tilt joystick 1 (see schematics for the location of the joysticks 1, 2
and 3) for 2-5 seconds to enter the configuration menu.

STEP 4-1: SELECT MODE

Determine if the configuration is for:

Fan manufacturer

 where you will connect

tubing directly to the ports on the fan.
-or-

Probe

where you will connect tubing to a probe.

1) Highlight submenu by tilting joystick 1.

Fan

Mfg

will begin blinking.

2) Cycle up or cycle down by using joystick 2 or

joystick 3, between the submenu choices.

3) Confirm selection by tilting joystick 1 when the

correct choice is shown on the display.
