• General Precautions
- Do not short circuit the plus (+) and minus (–) terminals of the battery.
- Never allow the battery to heat up to more than 60 degrees Celsius (140 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Do not drop the battery.
- Avoid any shock to the battery.
- Do not wipe the metal parts of the battery with a wet cloth.
- Do not soak the battery in water or touch with wet hands.
- Never disassemble a battery.
- Do not expose the batteries to direct sunlight
- Replace the battery only with the same or equivalent type recommended by Hitachi.
- Do not touch leaking batteries with bare hands. Wash your hands with running water if you
touch batter
- Dispose of batteries in accordance with applicable local laws, ordinances and regulations.
