3-1 Using the Stylus
The stylus is used to operate the VisionPlate instead of a mouse.
There are three basic actions, which are described below.
- Single tap: Single tapping involves touching the screen softly with the stylus.
This action is the
same as a left click of the mouse, and is used to select an item
- Double tap: Double tapping involves touching the screen softly twice in rapid succession with a
stylus pen. This action is the same as a left double click of the mouse and is used to open an
item.
- Drag/Drag and Drop: Dragging involves touching the screen with the stylus, and moving the
stylus on the screen surface while the pen is still touching the screen. Drag and Drop involves
selecting an object by touching the screen with the stylus and then lifting the stylus after moving
the object to another location.
