1.3 Foundation
(1) Check to ensure that the foundation is flat leveled and sufficiently strong.
(2) Confirm elevation provision for the outdoor unit on a solid base with an iron frame or concrete curbs.
Unit Leveled Installation
(3) In order to obtain proper clearance beneath the either rooftop or on-the-ground installation, provide a gravel
or concrete space around the outdoor unit air intake. In order to avoid air flow obstruction due to grass or
other vegetation.
1.4 Unit Check
Check to ensure that the unit has been transported without damage. File a damage claim with the
transportation companies if mishandling due to transportation company negligence is suspected.
