ALC
１）
Peak/AVE: Sets ALC detect signal peak/average ratio. Can be set in 4 steps of 50/50, 25/75, 15/85 and
0/100. When the average data percentage is large, the background is easier to see if the scene has bright
components. Conversely, a larger peak data percentage makes bright objects such as clouds easier to
distinguish.

Over ride: ALC setting
Setting range is from -128 to 127. Press the R button to increase and the L button to decrease the level. Set
to 0 by simultaneously pressing R and L buttons for about 2 seconds.

Speed: ALC operating speed
The ALC operation can be set for Slow, Standard or Fast.
２） ALC Gate: ALC gate on/off
On : The selected area video signal is detected for
controlling AGC and AES. In the menu mode, the
light sensing area is overlapped on the video signal
and visible. Sensing area setting is described on
page . When the cursor is shifted to another item,
the window is not visible. In the direct mode, the
window is not shown, but ALC operates from the
ALC gate.
