(7) Do not attempt to disassemble the Storage Battery or the Charger.
Special devices, such as a thermostat, are built into the storage battery and charger to permit rapid charging.
Incorrect parts replacement and/or wiring will cause malfunctions which could result in fire or other hazards.
Instruct the customer to bring these units to an authorized service center in the event repair or replacement is
necessary.
(8) Disposal of the Type EB 1220BL or EB 1222HL Storage Battery
Ensure that all customers understand that Type EB 1220BL or EB 1222HL Storage Battery should be returned
to the Hitachi power tool sales outlet or the authorized service center when it is no longer capable of being
recharged or repaired. If thrown into a fire, the battery may explode, or, if discarded indiscriminately, leakage
of the cadmium compound contained in the battery may cause environmental pollution.
