(2) Reassembling the Stator Ass'y

[22]

To align each screw hole of the Stator Ass'y

[22]

 and the

Housing Ass'y

[62]

accurately, insert the guide bar (J-132

stator press pins [special repair tool, code no. 970911]

are recommended) to press-fit the Stator Ass'y

[22]

 to the

Housing Ass'y

[62]

as shown in Fig. 2.  After press-fitting,

hook the Brush Terminal

[21]

 on the Brush Holder

[56]

.

Be careful not to pinch the internal wire of the Stator

Ass'y

[22]

 between the Stator Ass'y

[22]

 and the seat for

the Hex. Hd. Tapping Screw D5 x 65

[33]

 in the Housing

Ass'y

[62]

.  Secure the Stator Ass'y

[22]

 to the Housing

Ass'y

[62]

with the two Hex. Hd. Tapping Screws D5 x 65

[33]

.

(3) Reassembly of the Armature

[24]

Prior to assembling the Armature

[24]

, ensure that the

Rubber Ring

[35]

is properly inserted into the groove of

the bearing case within the Gear Cover

[27]

.  At this time,

be very careful not to damage the Rubber Ring

[35]

.  Be

sure to mount the Bearing Bushing

[31]

 and the Rubber

Bushing

[30]

 to the Armature

[24]

 before reassembly.

Do not perform reassembly with the Bearing Bushing

[31]

and the Rubber Bushing

[30]

 remained in the Housing

Ass'y

[62]

.

[22]

[55]
