
The HM-4721-D/ HM-4787-D color monitor has a power save capability
that identifies particular input signals from a microcomputer and saves
power consumption accordingly.
There are four states of power supply:
1. On:
The monitor is operating and consuming the rated power.
Standby:
The monitor is automatically controlled depending on the states
input signals. In this state, the monitor consumes about 110 W.
The monitor is automatically controlled depending on the states
input signals. In this state, the monitor consumes 30 W or less.
4. off:
There are three substates:
The monitor is automatically controlled depending on the states
input signals. In this substate, the monitor consumes 8 W or
less.
off2:
The front POWER switch is turned
In this substate, the
monitor consumes 8 W or less.
Off 3:
The main POWER switch is turned off. In this substate, the
monitor consumes no power.
While the monitor is in standby, suspend, or off state (the indicator is orange
or off), nothing is displayed on the screen.
Standby, suspend, and off 1 are controlled by the input signals from the
computer system or signal generator connected to the monitor. See also the
instruction manuals for these hardware units. Input signal states are shown
