3.3 Setting Up Comparator (PASS/FAIL
Test)
The instrument has a comparator function, which can indicate PASS
or FAIL with the display indicator and beep. The earth resistance
can be measured without setting up the comparator.
The comparator function operates as follows:
Comparison result Display Beep
Measured value ≤Reference value (PASS) Intermittent
Measured value > Reference value (FAIL)
Continuous
The comparison reference value can be chosen from the reference
values in the following table.
