EMERGENCY DESCENT WITH SAFETIES BY-PASS
In case of neither gravity emergency descent nor operations from ground
control position are possible, it’s possible to carry out the emergency descent
with safeties by-pass.
WARNING:
-
The safety devices by-pass is an extremely dangerous operation and
must be carried out only by qualified personnel and only in emergency
situations.

The control module records date, time and all the operations carried out
during the by-pass, Hinowa personnel could analyse those data.

Normal conditions have to be restored as soon as emergency has been
overcome.
EMERGENCY POTENTIAL SITUATIONS:
-
Machine has lost one of the stabilization conditions
-
Gravity emergency descent is not possible (ex. booms above an obstacle)
-
It’s required to rotate the turret to align the machine after the gravity
emergency descent
CONDITIONS REQUIRED:
Engine and/or electric motor properly working
Electrical system properly functioning
The aerial part safety device by-pass can be carried out by using the safeties
by-pass key switch that is under the slot on the left side of the electric
components compartment, installed on the machine rear side of the machine.
Keeping turned the safeties by-pass key switch leftwards (see the decal) the
aerial part safety devices are by-passed. The safeties by-pass key must be kept
turned while moving the machine. As soon as the safeties are by-passed the
display will show the AERIAL PART SAFETIES BY-PASS icon for a few seconds,
then the same icon will appear in position n.7.
NOTE:
In order to fulfil this emergency operation, it’s required the by
-pass key.
NOTE: Safeties by-pass procedure does not by-pass engine carter contact
prevention system.
