2.3 Ceiling Mounting for Type B
Before you start:

The thickness of the ceiling must range from 5 to 40mm.

The ceiling must be strong enough to withstand more than
4 times the weight of the dome and its accessories.

If the speed dome is installed to the wooden ceiling, use
the self-tapping screws to secure the mounting base.

If the dome is installed to the cement ceiling, drill four Φ5
screw holes onto the ceiling according to the position of
the holes, and then secure the mounting base to the
ceiling with expansion screws.
Steps:
1.
Drill four screw holes onto the ceiling according to the
screw holes on the mounting base.
2.
Secure the mounting base to the ceiling with four screws.
3.
Attach the mounting plate to the speed dome with three
set screws.
4.
Line up the direction of arrow on the mounting plate with
the mounting base.
5.
Push the speed dome upwards and then forwards in the
direction of arrow. When the speed dome is placed in
position, the spring will automatically snap into the lock
clip firmly.
2.4 Power-up Action
Make sure all cables are connected properly and power on
the speed dome to perform the power-up action.
The device does self-test actions automatically, and then you
can get the live view and check whether the PTZ control can
work normally.
Note:
If the speed dome cannot be powered up without damage,
check the cable connection carefully.
