QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE
CAUTION
If the die setting is too tight (the bottom die is up too
high), excess force will be exerted on the press when
the handle is pushed all the way down. This will make
inserting grommets more difficult and could damage or
break the press. Adjust die to provide sufficient room
for the material thickness to be grommeted.
Clip holds handle upright

* Spring loaded pin on top

Keep shaft clean and
occasionally lubricate
* Bottom die holds washer
Screw, wing-nut and washer secure die in place.
Loosen wing-nut before adjusting die. Tighten
wing-nut when desired setting is obtained.

STEP-BY-STEP ADJUSTMENTS & TIPS
Raising or lowering the bottom die to adjust for various material thicknesses:
1)
Close the die by lowering the handle. The distance between the die when closed
should be slightly larger than the thickness of the material you will be inserting
the grommet in.
2)
If the gap needs to be more or less, loosen the wing-nut that is underneath the
base, directly below the bottom die and turn the metal nut (like a dial) that is at
the base of where the bottom die sits.
