SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

DEFINITION OF SYMBOLS

RECOMMENDED TOOLS

All installations must comply with guidelines which are based on a zonal concept.

The colour coded diagram below illustrates this concept and must be followed to
ensure the safe installation of bathroom lighting.  These regulations apply to domestic
installations only.  Installations must be made in accordance with the current IEE wiring
regulations and relevant building regulations.  HiB recommends that all electrical
bathroom products should only be fi tted by a suitably qualifi ed, Part P registered
electrician.

Do not place the mirror on the fl oor without edge protectors!

 Use a soft cover

to prevent damage to the edges.

The use of electronic high-frequency devices such as hairdryers or mobile phones

next to the RadioStar Mirror can interfere with the reception.

For optimal reception, please fi x the RadioStar Mirror next to a window.

The mirror is splash-proof and has IP44 certifi cation.  However, please avoid

unnecessary splashes and moisture.  This applies especially for the side-mounted
loudspeakers, the remote control and the inside of the metal casing.

All safety precautions are marked with this symbol.
Please read them carefully to avoid personal and material damage!

Please switch off or disconnect all electrical fuses in the area in which you
are working

Components and devices marked with this symbol cannot be disposed of in
domestic waste.
