6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the wheelchair
6.1.1 Seat and backrest cushions can be washed with water and mild detergent once a week.
6.1.2 Other painted parts can be wiped with a cleaning sling or a disinfecting sling once a week.
6.2 Disinfecting the wheelchair
6.2.1 Wipe the armrests and handles with a cleaning sling or sanitizing sling dipped in 75%
medical alcohol and dry them immediately, once a week is enough.
Caution!
A.Do not use high pressure cleaners to clean the wheelchair. Do not splash water on the
wheelchair.
B.Do not use volatile chemical solvents, such as high-concentration alcohol, ether, high-
concentration acid or banana water, gasoline, kerosene, etc.Also do not use abrasive waxes,
sponges, brushes, etc.
C.All parts must be thoroughly dry before use after cleaning and disinfection.
6.3 Inspection, service and maintenance
6.3.1 Before using a wheelchair, you should check the following everyday.
A..After the wheelchair has been used for a period of time, it is necessary to check
whether each component is loose.
B. Should add lubricating oil weekly.
C. After using the wheelchair, wipe the moisture and stains on the surface with a soft dry
sling to prevent rust.
D. Seat and backrest cushions should always be kept clean to prevent skin infection.
E. The wheelchair should be placed in a dry, ventilated, stable and non-corrosive
environment.
F. Check that the frame can be folded smoothly.
G. Check that all the brakes are normal.
H. Check that the wheels turn smoothly and there is no shaking.
6.3.2 In order to better use the wheelchair and prolong the life of the wheelchair, we recommend
that users should do regular inspections.
A. Weekly inspection
Check the wheelchair looks clean, check the tires for cracks, and check the brakes are loose.
B. Monthly inspection
Check whether the front and rear wheels are worn, if any wear, contact the dealer for
replacement in time.
Check the rotation of the front and rear wheels.
Check the bearings of front and rear wheel.
C. Annual inspection.
The annual inspection is the same as above.
