CHECK THE RADIATOR
COOLANT LEVEL AND
EXPANSION BOTTLE LEVEL
DAILY WHEN THE ENGINE IS
COLD. DO NOT REMOVE
PRESSURE CAPS FROM A HOT
ENGINE
Coolant level should reach the
bottom of the radiator filler neck and
should be between the level marks
on the expansion bottle.
Filling the expansion bottle does
NOT refill the cooling system

STOP ENGINE AND ALLOW TO
COOL DOWN FOR A FEW
MINUTES BEFORE REFUELLING.
In addition
DO NOT SMOKE
while
refuelling, use a funnel or similar to
prevent fuel spillage, avoid over
filling the fuel tank and wipe up any
spilt fuel. Avoid contact of fuel with
skin.

The exhaust system in particular is
hot.

DO NOT ADJUST THE SPEED OF
THE ENGINE UNLESS YOU HAVE
BEEN TRAINED TO DO SO
If the generator is not producing
enough power for the application or
you suspect a problem do not adjust
the engine speed. This may
damage the engine, alternator and
any power equipment plugged into
the generator.
