Make sure that the condensate that accumu-
lates can run off properly (into a drain or into a
sufficiently large collecting vessel).
g)
Connect the condensate drain hose to the noz-
zle provided on the rear of the device.
h)
Make sure that a clean and intact filter is in-
stalled in the filter holder in front of the air inlet
slits.
i)
Make sure the power cable is undamaged.
j)
Insert the mains plug in a socket.
k)
Tighten the brakes on the two (braked) wheels
to prevent the device from rolling away.
l)
If necessary, check and record the operating
hours counter before switching the device on.
m)
In addition, check and log the power meter if
necessary.
The device is now set up and installed.

Running and operating
the device
WARNING
Risk of infection
The condensate may be contaminated with patho-
genic (disease-causing) substances.
a)
Never drink the condensate.
b)
Avoid leaving the condensate in the collecting
vessel or in the condensate drain hose for a
longer period of time. Pump off the condensate
regularly.
Attention
Damage to the device due to improper de-icing
During operation, the evaporator may become iced
up.
a)
Always defrost the device automatically.
b)
Never try to scratch off the ice manually with
the help of sharp objects.
Before switching on:
a)
Make sure that the device is not standing on a
wet base and ensure that it stands upright and
safe.
b)
Make sure that the power cable is undamaged.
c)
Make sure that the condensate can drain off
safely. To do this, drain the condensate drain
hose into a drain or into an empty, sufficiently
large collecting vessel.
Switch on the device.
a)
Turn the device switch to position [I].
The device switch will light up in red.
The green indicator lamp will display the
continuous operating mode.
