specified use is considered improper use. Improper
use will result in all warranty claims becoming void.

14.2.2
Foreseeable misuse
The following types of misuse can be envisaged:
–
Drying air in rooms that are not closed, or in out-
door areas,
–
Drying air without adhering to the specified min-
imum distances.
14.3
Safety devices
Persons can be seriously injured on the device if the
safety devices are not properly installed and adjust-
ed. Do not modify, dismantle or take any of the safe-
ty devices out of operation. Every safety device must
be freely accessible at all times.
Familiarize yourself with all the safety devices; this
way personal injury and/or damage to property can
be prevented or minimized.
The following diagram shows the various safety
devices on the device.

The lockable castors ensure that the device remains
stable.
The device has additional safety devices; these are
listed below.
Signalling devices
Indicator lights are attached to the control panel to
display the operating condition of the device:
–
Green indicator lamp: Voltage is on, the device
is switched on and working in normal operating
mode.
–
Yellow indicator lamp: The device is automatical-
ly defrosting.
–
Red indicator light. A malfunction has occurred.
Switch the device off and then back on again. If
the malfunction persists, shut down the device
and contact the manufacturer.
Protective devices
Protective devices safeguard hazardous areas on
the device. They have no influence on the device’s
movements.
Separating protective devices
Separating protective devices prevent or hinder di-
rect access to the rotating or moving parts of the
device. They may only be removed for set-up,
maintenance or repair work and must be mounted
again before restarting.
The device has the following safety covers:

Safety cover on the front of the device with air
inlet slits,
–
Protective cover on the electrical components
Other safety devices
–
The power supply unit for the device is fitted with
an earthing-pin (“Schuko“) plug
